Norton St. Nicholas Church of England (VA) Primary School

With close ties to St Nicholas School, our team visits the school on a weekly basis to carry out school assemblies, class visits and collective worship services.

Throughout the year we hold special celebration services for the whole school in St George's church (because we can all fit in) or part school services in St Nicholas Church , which is just next door!

Classes are always welcome to come and have a look around the churches to learn more about the Christian faith.

In December 2017, St Nicholas School, its staff and pupils achieved a continued  'Outstanding' in its short Church of England inspection, and a continued  'Good' from Ofsted.

This only confirmed what we already knew about the school... they are a fantastic school who work hard to maintain their seven core values which underpin the whole ethos of the school.

The values of Courage, Forgiveness, Honesty, Love, Respect, Thankfulness and Wisdom.

Admissions Policy 20-21

As a Church of England school, when overscribed, priority is given to families who are faithful and regular members at one of our churches. This includes regualr attendance, which the school defines as at least twice a month for at least two and half years.  To keep accurate records, we ask parents to sign a register after church when they have attended.
