The Parish of Norton

July 2008

A Very warm welcome to the Parish of Norton. We hope that you will find our site useful in describing all our activities here in Norton Parish. We are an Anglican (Church of England) church in the Diocese of St. Albans here in Northern Hertfordshire with a broad tradition of Christian worship.

We are delighted that Bishop Ulises will be visiting us in the Parish this month, as he later attends the Lambeth Conference.

Bishop Ulises will join us on Sunday 13th July at 10.30 am. for our festival service and afterwards for our celebratory Garden Party at the Vicarage. Please join us.

Bishop Ulises Prendes is pictured here on the left along with the Revd. Canon Nerva Cot Aguilera on their installations as Cuba's first Bishops suffragen. Prior to his selection as Bishop, Archdeacon Aguero was Archdeacon in Santiago de Cuba and rector of two congregations, St. mary's and St. Luke's.

A very warm welcome to Norton, Bishop!

If you are new to this area, or to the Church, please do see the remainder of our site which we hope will give you details of the rest of our regular activities. Welcome.
