Weddings

 

 

We would be delighted to hear from you if you are intending to ask us to marry you! If either one of you lives within the Parish, it is your legal right to ask to be married in the Parish Church.

 

Alternatively, If you have strong connections with either of our Churches, we would be happy to discuss your plans with you.

 

 

In the first instance please phone 01462 678133 to book a wedding appointment meeting, or talk to the Clergy at any service.

 

As a parish church, we are delighted to welcome children and adults for baptism. Baptism is the sacrament for joining the church and incorporation into Christ.

Baptisms take place during the Parish Eucharist at St Georges (9.30am on Sundays) 6 times each year, and three times at St Nicholas (11.30am) . In certain rare circumstances, and for pastoral reasons only, baptisms may take place at other times, with the permission of the Vicar. The dates for Baptism Sundays in 2011& 2012 are listed below.

Baptism families will be invited to a Baptism Meeting to meet each other and to learn more about this important life event. A member of the baptism visiting team will visit the family at home to plan their special day.
