St George's Gardening Team

We are a small team who maintain the flower beds at St George’s. We do this on an ad hoc basis whenever there is the need for dead heading, weeding, etc. There are lots of shrubs which give colour throughout the seasons and large quantities of spring bulbs. There are very few bedding plants.

The Grass cutting team deal with the weeds around the grounds.

If you enjoy gardening and could spare some time, you will be surprised at how many people will greet you. It is a good opportunity to pass on information about what is going on within the church.
