The Norton Lent Course 2008
This year our Lent course will be centred around a theme of 'The Economics of the Gospel'. Yes, we're talking about money, but more than that... What money is, what values it really confers, what it means to be a Christian in a world that places so much store on money. We will ask questions like, "Should Christians be in Business?", "Is Christianity a Business?", "What are our social visions?" and the like..... These are just some of the questions that spring to mind when we start to talk about money. As part of our 'Growing Together' process we have asked five people to address five questions on the controversial topic of Christians and money. At all of the sessions there will be time to pick the brains of our speakers and to put our own point of view. Please do join us each Tuesday evening beginning on the 12th Feb at 8 pm. at 'Trembaths' in Talbot Way, Norton, Letchworth Garden City, when we will have speakers from the worlds of Business, Academics, The Church and Civic society who will present a challenging view on...
